As of 1 July 2026, over 5 years in Spain (9,000 km/year), the SEAT Ibiza (1.0 TSI 115) is still the cheaper car to own: about €20,449 versus €23,728 for the BYD Dolphin Surf (43.2 kWh), a gap of €3,279.
